This is a common problem with the Lama. It normally happens when the 4 in 1 gets "out of whack" after a crash. To cure this try the following:

1. Make sure your battery is disconnected from the 4 in 1.
2. Set the proportional trim pot on the 4 in 1 to it's original factory setting. If you don`t know this, adjust it to the center position. (turn it gently and without force, fully clockwise then fully counterclockwise, then back to the center of trim movement)
3. Now set all the trims on the transmitter to their center positions, EXCEPT the throttle trim, which should be fully down.

Now, we're going to do the opposite of what the manual says... Hold the heli by the skids and at arms length or ask someone else to hold the heli. Do the following in order:

1. Connect the battery to the 4 in 1.
2. Switch on the transmitter. The rotors may suddenly spin up at full rpm, hence holding the Lama at arms length. After a second or two the rotor will stop spinning. NOTE. the rotor does not always spin up.
3. Wait a few seconds until the 4 in 1 stabilizes..

If this does not work, repeat the procedure.

Obviously from now on you MUST follow the instructions and switch on the transmitter first then connect the battery to the 4 in 1.

This fix is repeatable any time the helicopter develops the spinning problem.
